GRD 151 Icon Project
Bringing Art to Life Icons
Design Objective
This project focused on designing a cohesive icon system, emphasizing their role in navigation, communication, and visual storytelling. Icons serve as an essential part of design systems, providing a universal and efficient way to convey information across different platforms.

Design Brief
For this project, I created a set of 10 icons (5 primary + 5 secondary) along with a graphic style guide and an infographic poster based on the history of animation. The infographic highlighted influential animators, including Walt Disney, Hayao Miyazaki, Matt Groening, John Lasseter, and Rebecca Sugar.

To ensure clarity and consistency, I developed a clean, rounded icon style that maintained a cohesive visual identity across the set. The style guide provided specifications for usage, ensuring scalability and readability. The final infographic poster presented the icons in an engaging format, visually narrating animation’s impact over time.
